IGS manufactures standard compression nitrogen filled gas springs and gas struts. We are a stocking supplier carrying a full range of gas spring hardware including end fittings, mounting brackets, ball studs and whatever the connecting configuration requires.

We provide engineering support utilizing our proprietary application design software, which calculates optimum mounting points, gas spring size and force, application operating characteristics and ambient temperature effect. We also offer design software services including 3D CAD drawings for direct insertion in your drawing or plan.

We serve many industries: Industrial, Commercial, Aerospace, Marine, Medical and others. Our Springs are made from carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. A number of rod finishes are available including, black nitride and chrome plated. Standard stock sizes are from 2" to 20" of stroke and forces from 10 lbs. to 1000 lbs. Custom designed springs are available with unique features such as reduced compression ratio, high temperature seals, food grade oil fill, high speed extension, low friction, etc.
